Since 2013 we work together with Worldschool. Worldschool is an organisation that works with different schools and small developmental organisations to create an educational programme voor students in classes 5 and 6 of Pre-University (Havo/Vwo) High School. The students are given assignments related to projects in developmental countries for their final assignment, with the aim for them to learn about developmental cooperation, to broaden their horizon and to give them the opportunity to contribute to a better world. The students are supported by experts from universities, polytechnics and other research institutions. They can also get help from experienced managers in the field.
This academic year a number of groups of students are looking into our four different assignments, like making an animation-movie to promote our work to the general public or looking at ways to improve the vegetable garden (irrigation system, use of compost) at the Vocational Training Centre. The students will present their work in early spring. We are looking forward to it!
